September 19, 2008: Knoxville, TN 37923 The Wartburg Central Bulldogs football team (Wartburg, TN), was ripped 43-6 in Friday's league challenge with the host Knoxville Christian Academy Warriors (Knoxville, TN)
The Warriors (3-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Webb (Knoxville, TN). The Spartans come into the non-league challenge with a 1-3 record. In their last challenge, Webb was ripped by Ensworth (Nashville, TN), 28-7, in a league challenge.
The Bulldogs now sport a 1-3 record. They take the field next when they host Alcoa for a 2A Region 2 challenge on Friday, September 26. Wartburg Central will meet a Tornadoes team coming off a 56-0 non-league win over Washington (Memphis, TN). The Tornadoes record now stands at 3-1.
