The Manasquan Big Blue (Manasquan, NJ) football beat the visiting Matawan Regional Huskies (Aberdeen, NJ), 34-7 in Saturday's league game.

The Big Blue (6-1) will now prepare for their game against Holmdel (Holmdel, NJ). The Hornets enter the Shore- Liberty game with a 3-3 record. In their last game, Holmdel lost by Red Bank Catholic (Holmdel, NJ), 24-8, in a league game.

The Huskies now own a 1-5 record. They play next when they travel to Point Pleasant Boro for a non-league game on Saturday, October 29. Matawan Regional will meet a Panthers team coming off a 55-18 league loss to Shore Regional (Point Pleasant, NJ). The Panthers record now stands at 6-0.
