New Jersey High School Softball - Cumberland Christian bounces King's Christian
April 9, 2019: Cherry Hill, NJ 08003 Cumberland Christian Crusaders (Vineland, NJ) backers exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they saw their softball squad run past the host King's Christian (Cherry Hill, NJ), 19-1 in a league challenge.
The Crusaders now own a 2-1 record. They take the field next when they host LEAP Academy for a non-league challenge on Thursday, April 11. Cumberland Christian will battle a Lancers squad coming off a 12-1 non-league win over Willingboro (Willingboro, NJ). The Lancers record now stands at 1-2.
With the loss, King's Christian falls to 2-5 on the campaign. The travel to Calvary Academy (Lakewood, NJ) to battle the Warrior in a Tri-State Christian challenge on Thursday, April 11. The Warrior enter the challenge with a record of 1-1. Calvary Academy won 27-7 in their recent league challenge against Gloucester County Christian (Sewell, NJ)
