Gadsden Panthers (Anthony, NM) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Mesa Vista Trojans (Ojo Caliente, NM), 55-22 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Gadsden upgrades its record to 2-3 on the season. The Panthers host Chaparral (Chaparral, NM) to confront the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, December 6. The Lobos come into the challenge with a record of 1-5. Chaparral lost 48-38 in their recent non-league challenge against Hot Springs (Truth or Consequences, NM)

Next up, the Trojans confront the Cheraw Wolverines (Cheraw, CO) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 1. Mesa Vista will attempt to improve on its 2-2 season record.
