New York High School Baseball - Fredonia defeats Villa Maria Academy
April 1, 2010: Fredonia, NY 14063 Fredonia Hillbillies (Fredonia, NY) fans exited the stadium thrilled Thursday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Villa Maria Academy Victors (Erie, PA), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Fredonia upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Hillbillies travel to Allegany-Limestone (Allegany, NY) to battle the Gators in a Section 6 Chautauqua County I test on Tuesday, April 6. The Gators come into the test with a record of 0-1. Allegany-Limestone lost 4-0 in their recent non-league test against Wellsville (Wellsville, NY)
With the defeat, Villa Maria Academy falls to 1-1 on the season. The Victors travel to Madison Central (Richmond, KY) to battle the Indians in a non-league test on Tuesday, April 6. The Indians come into the test with a record of 5-2. Madison Central won 2-1 in their recent non-league test against Ashland Blazer (Ashland, KY)
