California High School Basketball - San Jacinto nips West Valley
January 9, 2024: San Jacinto, CA 92583 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the San Jacinto Tigers (San Jacinto, CA) and the visiting West Valley Mustangs (Hemet, CA), saw San Jacinto's basketball squad hold off West Valley by a tally of 58-54.
With the victory, San Jacinto improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Liberty (Winchester, CA) to play the Bison in a Mountain Pass challenge on Thursday, January 11. The Bison come into the challenge with a record of 14-6. Liberty won 81-46 in their recent league challenge against Perris (Perris, CA)
Next up, the Mustangs play the Citrus Hill Hawks (Perris, CA) in a Mountain Pass challenge, on Thursday, January 11. West Valley will attempt to improve on its 7-11 season record. The Hawks come into the challenge with a 8-12 record after their 59-57 league win over Tahquitz (Hemet, CA).
