The Forsyth Central Bulldogs the visiting Flowery Branch Falcons softball squad by a final score of 9-7 in Tuesday's non-league battle.

The Bulldogs (2-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lumpkin County (Dahlonega, GA). The Indians go into the non-league battle with a 1-3 record. In their last battle, Lumpkin County by Union County (Blairsville, GA), 4-2, in a non-league battle.

The Falcons now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they host Jefferson for a 5A Region 8 battle on Friday, August 11. Flowery Branch will meet a Dragons squad coming off a 10-5 non-league loss to North Hall (Gainesville, GA). The Dragons record now stands at 1-1.
