Delaware High School Basketball - More Prep nudges St. Andrew's
February 20, 2010: Magnolia, DE 19962 In Saturday's non-league outing, the More Prep (Magnolia, DE) basketball squad nipped the visiting St. Andrew's Cardinals (Middletown, DE), by a margin of 43-37.
The (13-4) will now prepare for their outing against Sussex Central (Georgetown, DE). The Golden Knights enter the non-league match with a 12-6 record. In their last match, Sussex Central was nipped by Smyrna (Smyrna, DE), 52-39, in a league match.
With the defeat, St. Andrew's moves to 8-9 on the year. The Cardinals travel to Tatnall (Wilmington, DE) to confront the Hornets in a Independent Schools match on Tuesday, February 23. The Hornets enter the match with a record of 5-13. Tatnall lost 56-29 in their recent league match against Sanford (Hockessin, DE)
