Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Valley Vikings (Albuquerque, NM) and the visiting Bernalillo Spartans (Bernalillo, NM), saw Valley's basketball squad hold off Bernalillo by a tally of 67-60.

The Vikings (6-10) will now prepare for their test against Albuquerque Academy (Albuquerque, NM). The Chargers go into the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Albuquerque Academy got by Bernalillo (Bernalillo, NM), 56-49, in a league test.

The Spartans now own a 5-10 record. They play next when they travel to Hope Christian for a non-league test on Friday, February 3. Bernalillo will encounter a Huskies squad coming off a 60-23 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Huskies record now stands at 9-8.
