Iowa High School Basketball - Regina nips North Cedar
January 29, 2022: Iowa City, IA 52245 Fans at Saturday's league challenge between the Regina Regals (Iowa City, IA) and the visiting North Cedar Knights (Stanwood, IA), saw Regina's basketball squad hold off North Cedar by a count of 48-44.
With the victory, Regina upgrades its record to 5-10 on the campaign. The Regals travel to Mt. Pleasant (Mt. Pleasant, IA) to play the Panthers in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, February 1. The Panthers come into the challenge with a record of 7-8. Mt. Pleasant won 55-29 in their recent non-league challenge against Mediapolis (Mediapolis, IA)
Next up, the Knights play the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) in a River Valley challenge, on Monday, January 31. North Cedar will attempt to upgrade on its 2-13 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 9-6 record after their 62-14 league win over West Liberty (West Liberty, IA).
