New Jersey High School Lacrosse - J.P. Stevens drops to Rutgers Prep
May 8, 2024: Edison, NJ 08820 Rutgers Prep Argonauts (Somerset, NJ) followers exited the stadium in high spirits Wednesday as they witnessed their lacrosse squad achieve victory over the host J.P. Stevens Hawks (Edison, NJ), 18-12 in a non-league battle.
The Argonauts now have a 2-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to Bernards for a Skyland - Raritan battle on Saturday, May 11. Rutgers Prep will clash with a Mountaineers squad coming off a 15-7 non-league win over West Morris Central (Chester, NJ). The Mountaineers record now stands at 9-5.
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the South Plainfield Tigers (South Plainfield, NJ) in a GMC - White battle, on Saturday, May 11. J.P. Stevens will attempt to move on its 4-11 season record. The Tigers come into the battle with a 8-6 record after their 13-4 non-league win over Ewing (Trenton, NJ).
