In Friday's league match, the visiting Rincon/University Rangers basketball team scored a tight 68-66 triumph over the Cienega Bobcats.

In their next game, the Rangers face the Cactus Cobras (Glendale, AZ) in a non-league match, on Monday, December 29. Rincon/University will attempt to move on its 15-8 season record. The Cobras enter the match with a 6-21 record after their 67-62 league loss to Washington (Phoenix, AZ).
