Ohio High School Volleyball - Lake Center Christian Mineral Ridge
September 25, 2021: Hartville, OH 44632 The Mineral Ridge Rams topped the host Lake Center Christian Tiger volleyball team by a score of 3-1 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Rams now have a 10-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Springfield for a Mahoning Valley Athletic - Scarlet test on Monday, September 27. Mineral Ridge will confront a Tigers team coming off a 3-2 league loss to Jackson-Milton (North Jackson, OH). The Tigers record now stands at 4-8.
The Tiger (12-2) will now prepare for their test against Garfield (Garrettsville, OH). The G-Men enter the non-league test with a 12-1 record. In their last test, Garfield gained a win over Champion (Warren, OH), 3-0, in a league test.
Match Summary
With the non-conference victory the Lady Rams improved to a 10-4 season record and remain 7-2 in the conference. The Lady Rams were led by Ava Hulett with 19 digs and 15 kills, Hannah Loeb with 14 kills and 6 blocks and Samantha Aulet with 32 assists and 6 aces. Lake Center Christian was led by Jessica Ickes with 17 kills, Nicole Miller with 15 digs and Tori Wilson with 29 assists. With the loss LCC is now 12-2 on the season.
