March 4, 2022: Barco, NC 27917 Currituck County Knights (Barco, NC) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Roanoke Rapids Yellowjackets (Roanoke Rapids, NC), 9-2 in a non-league test.
With the win, Currituck County upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Knights host Northside - Pinetown (Pinetown, NC) to battle the Panthers in a non-league test on Monday, March 7. The Panthers come into the test with a record of 0-2. Northside - Pinetown lost 12-7 in their recent non-league test against Ayden - Grifton (Ayden, NC)
With the defeat, Roanoke Rapids falls to 0-1 on the season. The Yellowjackets travel to Franklinton (Franklinton, NC) to battle the Rams in a test on Tuesday, March 8. The Rams come into the test with a record of 0-0.
