New York High School Basketball - Christ the King nudges Springfield
December 19, 2022: Middle Village, NY 11379 Christ the King Royals (Middle Village, NY) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Springfield Millers (Springfield, OR), 52-46 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Christ the King upgrades its record to 3-1 on the season. The Royals travel to Carondelet (Concord, CA) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league bout on Tuesday, December 20. The Cougars go into the bout with a record of 11-1. Carondelet won 69-53 in their recent non-league bout against Salpointe Catholic (Tucson, AZ)
Next up, the Millers clash with the Pine Creek Eagles (Colorado Springs, CO) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, December 21. Springfield will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 4-3 record after their 57-54 non-league loss to Seton Catholic (Chandler, AZ).
