California High School Football - Jefferson prevails Castlemont
September 17, 2021: Oakland, CA 94605 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Jefferson Grizzlies (Daly City, CA) and the host Castlemont Knights (Oakland, CA), observed Jefferson's football squad defeat Castlemont by a count of 28-8.
The Grizzlies now own a 2-2 record. They play next when they travel to Menlo School for a contest on Saturday, October 2. Jefferson will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 41-7 non-league win over Terra Nova (Pacifica, CA). The Knights record now stands at 1-1.
