North Carolina High School Softball - West Mecklenburg can't hold off Garinger
March 29, 2023: Charlotte, NC 28205 The Garinger Wildcats softball team scored 1 runs and limited the visiting West Mecklenburg Hawks to 0 in the Wildcats non-league triumph on Wednesday.
With the triumph, Garinger improves its record to 2-7 on the year. The Wildcats host Butler (Matthews, NC) to clash with the Bulldogs in a Southwestern 4A game on Friday, March 31. The Bulldogs come into the game with a record of 7-4. Butler lost 13-0 in their recent non-league game against Myers Park (Charlotte, NC)
In their next game, the Hawks clash with the Chambers Cougars (Charlotte, NC) in a Queen City 3A/4A game, on Thursday, March 30. West Mecklenburg will attempt to improve on its 2-9 season record. The Cougars enter the outing with a 1-7 record after their 14-2 league loss to Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC).
