Arizona High School Basketball - Millennium holds off South Mountain

December 5, 2019: Phoenix, AZ 85040

Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Millennium Tigers (Goodyear, AZ) and the host South Mountain Jaguars (Phoenix, AZ), saw Millennium's basketball squad hold off South Mountain by a tally of 63-62.

With the victory, Millennium improves its record to 4-1 on the campaign. The Tigers host Sierra Canyon (Chatsworth, CA) to confront the Trailblazers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 7. The Trailblazers come into the challenge with a record of 6-0. Sierra Canyon won 72-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Santa Clarita Christian (Canyon Country, CA)

Next up, the Jaguars confront the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 6. South Mountain will attempt to improve on its 3-3 season record. The Vipers come into the challenge with a 2-3 record after their 65-37 non-league win over North Canyon (Phoenix, AZ).
