Oscoda Owls (Oscoda, MI) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Posen Vikings (Posen, MI), 60-46 in a league bout.

With the win, Oscoda upgrades its record to 5-2 on the season. The Owls host Houghton Lake (Houghton Lake, MI) to play the Bobcats in a non-league bout on Monday, January 8. The Bobcats go into the bout with a record of 2-4.

Next up, the Vikings play the Pellston Hornets (Pellston, MI) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 29. Posen will attempt to upgrade on its 2-4 season record.
