October 2, 2014: Lake Arthur, LA 70549 In Thursday's non-league game, the South Beauregard Knights (Longville, LA) football team knocked off the host Lake Arthur Tigers (Lake Arthur, LA), by a final score of 20-0.
The Knights (5-0) will now prepare for their game against Westlake (Westlake, LA). The Rams come into the 3A District 4 game with a 1-4 record. In their last game, Westlake was dropped by Patterson (Patterson, LA), 27-13, in a non-league game.
The Tigers now hold a 3-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Kinder for a 2A District 4 game on Thursday, October 9. Lake Arthur will battle a Yellowjackets team coming off a 53-0 non-league win over Iota (Iota, LA). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 5-0.
