Blacklick Valley Vikings (Nanty Glo, PA) fans exited the stadium thrilled Tuesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the visiting Windber Ramblers (Windber, PA), 9-4 in a league test.

With the win, Blacklick Valley upgrades its record to 10-8 on the season. The Vikings travel to Rockwood (Rockwood, PA) to battle the Rockets in a Western Pennsylvania test on Friday, May 12. The Rockets come into the test with a record of 9-8. Rockwood won 29-1 in their recent league test against Turkeyfoot Valley Area (Confluence, PA)

With the defeat, Windber falls to 10-6 on the season. The Ramblers travel to Ferndale (Johnstown, PA) to battle the Yellow Jackets in a Western Pennsylvania test on Wednesday, May 10. The Yellow Jackets come into the test with a record of 3-12. Ferndale lost 14-2 in their recent non-league test against Bishop McCort (Johnstown, PA)
