Northern Virginia HomeSchool Centurions (Manassas, VA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Lynchburg HomeSchool Patriots (Lynchburg, VA), 49-45 in a league bout.

With the win, Northern Virginia HomeSchool upgrades its record to 5-1 on the season. The Centurions travel to Fairfax HomeSchool (Fairfax, VA) to clash with the Hawks in a Virginia HomeSchool bout on Friday, January 12. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 10-3.

Next up, the Patriots clash with the Timberlake Christian Tornadoes (Forest, VA) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Lynchburg HomeSchool will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Tornadoes go into the bout with a 2-5 record after their 55-44 non-league win over Christian Heritage Academy (Rocky Mount, VA).
