Hillsdale FIGHTING KNIGHTS (San Mateo, CA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting San Mateo Bearcats (San Mateo, CA), 48-38 in a league bout.

With the win, Hillsdale upgrades its record to 6-7 on the season. The FIGHTING KNIGHTS host Burlingame (Burlingame, CA) to play the Panthers in a Peninsula - South bout on Wednesday, January 13. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Burlingame won 23-22 in their recent non-league bout against Clayton Valley Charter (Concord, CA)

Next up, the Bearcats play the Menlo-Atherton Bears (Atherton, CA) in a Peninsula - South bout, on Wednesday, January 13. San Mateo will attempt to upgrade on its 3-7 season record. The Bears go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 83-53 league win over Sequoia (Redwood City, CA).
