Millard North Mustangs (Omaha, NE) backers were pleased Saturday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Lincoln East Spartans (Lincoln, NE), 69-44 in a league bout.

With the victory, Millard North upgrades its record to 11-1 on the campaign. The Mustangs host Marian (Omaha, NE) to play the Crusaders in a A District TBD bout on Tuesday, January 17. The Crusaders come into the bout with a record of 6-6. Marian won 72-42 in their recent league bout against Columbus (Columbus, NE)

Next up, the Spartans play the Lincoln Northeast Rockets (Lincoln, NE) in a A District TBD bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Lincoln East will attempt to upgrade on its 7-4 season record. The Rockets come into the bout with a 10-5 record after their 57-41 league win over Elkhorn South (Omaha, NE).
