Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the University Cougars (Orlando, FL) and the visiting McKeel Academy Wildcats (Lakeland, FL), saw University's basketball squad wallop McKeel Academy by a tally of 59-36.

With the victory, University improves its record to 6-5 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to East River (Orlando, FL) to confront the Falcons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, January 5. The Falcons come into the challenge with a record of 6-6.

Next up, the Wildcats confront the Frostproof Bulldogs (Frostproof, FL) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. McKeel Academy will attempt to improve on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 3-3 record after their 60-49 non-league loss to Faith Christian (Orlando, FL).
