Illinois High School Basketball - Niles West nips Westinghouse
December 29, 2021: Skokie, IL 60077 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Niles West Wolves (Skokie, IL) and the visiting Westinghouse Warriors (Chicago, IL), saw Niles West's basketball squad hold off Westinghouse by a count of 62-57.
With the victory, Niles West upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Wolves host Wheeling (Wheeling, IL) to play the Wildcats in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 11. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a record of 6-8.
Next up, the Warriors play the Elk Grove Grenadiers (Elk Grove Village, IL) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 30. Westinghouse will attempt to upgrade on its 6-7 season record. The Grenadiers come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 77-37 non-league loss to Lane Tech (Chicago, IL).
