February 3, 2023: Mount Airy, NC 27030

In Friday's league outing, the Winston-Salem Prep Phoenix (Winston-Salem, NC) basketball squad overwhelmed the host Millennium Lions (Mount Airy, NC), by a margin of 76-39.

The Phoenix (11-8) will now prepare for their outing against Leadership Academy (Kernersville, NC). The Falcons go into the 1A Conference 32 outing with a 13-7 record. In their last outing, Leadership Academy was trounced by Thomasville (Thomasville, NC), 59-39, in a non-league outing.

The Lions now own a 2-22 record. They play next when they travel to Bethany for a 1A Conference 32 outing on Tuesday, February 7. Millennium will clash with a Wolves squad coming off a 44-41 league win over Cornerstone Charter (Greensboro, NC). The Wolves record now stands at 7-16.
