North Carolina High School Soccer - East Davidson nudges Southwestern Randolph
March 21, 2024: Thomasville, NC 27360 East Davidson Golden Eagles (Thomasville, NC) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Southwestern Randolph Cougars (Asheboro, NC), 2-1 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Eagles confront the North Rowan Cavaliers (Spencer, NC) in a Central Carolina 1A/2A challenge, on Monday, March 25. East Davidson will attempt to better on its 5-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the challenge with a 0-6 record after their 10-0 non-league loss to East Rowan (Salisbury, NC).
The Cougars now have a 4-5 record. They take the field next when they host Eastern Randolph for a Piedmont Athletic 1A/2A challenge on Monday, March 25. Southwestern Randolph will confront a Wildcats team coming off a 9-0 league loss to Wheatmore (Trinity, NC). The Wildcats record now stands at 1-2.
