April 10, 2024: Vinton, VA 24179 The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers baseball team scored 11 runs and limited the host William Byrd Terriers to 4 in the Cavaliers non-league victory on Wednesday.
The Cavaliers (5-0) will now prepare for their match against Brookville (Lynchburg, VA). The Bees go into the non-league match with a 6-1 record. In their last contest, Brookville got by Amherst County (Amherst, VA), 11-3, in a non-league contest.
The Terriers now sport a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Franklin County for a non-league contest on Tuesday, April 16. William Byrd will encounter a Eagles squad coming off a 13-3 non-league loss to Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA). The Eagles record now stands at 1-3.
