In Friday's non-league game, the Grassfield Grizzlies (Chesapeake, VA) football team smashed the host Hickory Hawks (Chesapeake, VA), by a score of 49-7.

The Grizzlies (3-0) will now prepare for their game against Indian River (Chesapeake, VA). The Braves come into the non-league game with a 3-0 record. In their last game, Indian River overwhelmed King's Fork (Suffolk, VA), 50-21, in a non-league game.
