The Alleghany Trojans football squad scored 28 points and restricted the visiting East Wilkes Cardinals to 15 in the Trojans league victory on Friday.

The Trojans now possess a 2-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ashe County for a 2A/1A Mountain Valley battle on Friday, October 5. Alleghany will face a Huskies squad coming off a 15-13 league loss to North Wilkes (Hays, NC). The Huskies record now stands at 2-5.

Coming up next, the Cardinals face the Wilkes Central Eagles (Wilkesboro, NC) in a 2A/1A Mountain Valley battle, on Friday, October 5. East Wilkes will attempt to advance on its 1-6 season record.
