California High School Lacrosse - Segerstrom gets by Portola
March 2, 2022: Irvine, CA 92618 The crowd at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Segerstrom Jaguars (Santa Ana, CA) and the host Portola Bulldogs (Irvine, CA), witnessed Segerstrom's lacrosse squad edge Portola by a tally of 12-11.
The Jaguars now have a 3-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Simi Valley for a non-league battle on Saturday, March 5. Segerstrom will clash with a Pioneers squad coming off a 15-5 non-league loss to Dos Pueblos (Goleta, CA). The Pioneers record now stands at 2-4.
In their next game, the Bulldogs clash with the Woodbridge Warriors (Irvine, CA) in a Pacific Coast battle, on Monday, March 7. Portola will attempt to move on its 0-1 season record. The Warriors come into the battle with a 4-1 record after their 16-5 non-league win over Mission Viejo (Mission Viejo, CA).
