Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the Commerce Tigers (Commerce, TX) and the visiting Canton Eagles (Canton, TX), saw Commerce's basketball squad overcome Canton by a tally of 66-51.

With the victory, Commerce improves its record to 9-12 on the campaign. The Tigers travel to Edgewood (Edgewood, TX) to confront the Bulldogs in a 3A Region II District 12 challenge on Tuesday, January 4. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a record of 5-2.

Next up, the Eagles confront the Maud Cardinals (Maud, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Wednesday, December 29. Canton will attempt to improve on its 15-5 season record. The Cardinals come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 49-30 non-league loss to Kilgore (Kilgore, TX).
