January 17, 2022: Pleasant Valley, IA 52767 Fans at Monday's league challenge between the Pleasant Valley Spartans (Pleasant Valley, IA) and the visiting Central Clinton Sabers (DeWitt, IA), saw Pleasant Valley's basketball squad overcome Central Clinton by a tally of 47-35.
With the victory, Pleasant Valley improves its record to 11-0 on the campaign. The Spartans host Assumption (Davenport, IA) to confront the Knights in a Mississippi challenge on Tuesday, January 25. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 8-4.
Next up, the Sabers confront the Northeast Rebels (Goose Lake, IA) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 18. Central Clinton will attempt to improve on its 10-3 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 50-33 league win over Cascade (Cascade, IA).
