Virginia High School Basketball - Loudoun County knocked off by Annandale
December 29, 2011: Annandale, VA 22003 In Thursday's non-league match, the host Annandale Atoms basketball team scored a good 51-39 triumph over the Loudoun County Raiders.
In their next game, the Atoms face the West Potomac Wolverines (Alexandria, VA) in a AAA Patriot game, on Tuesday, January 3. Annandale will attempt to move on its 4-5 season record. The Wolverines enter the game with a 0-6 record after their 60-39 league loss to South County (Lorton, VA).
With the defeat, Loudoun County moves to 7-5 on the year. The Raiders travel to Dominion (Sterling, VA) to face the Titans in a AA Dulles game on Wednesday, January 4. The Titans enter the game with a record of 3-7. Dominion won 52-17 in their recent non-league game against Stuart (Falls Church, VA)
