August 22, 2009: Victoria, TX 77901 The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Calallen Wildcats (Corpus Christi, TX) and the host Victoria Memorial Vipers (Victoria, TX), saw Calallen's volleyball squad beat Victoria Memorial by a tally of 2-0.
With the win, Calallen upgrades its record to 3-2 on the year. The Wildcats travel to King (Corpus Christi, TX) to play the Mustangs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 8. The Mustangs go into the bout with a record of 8-2.
The Vipers now own a 2-6 record. They play next when they travel to Calhoun for a non-league bout on Tuesday, August 25. Victoria Memorial will play a Sandcrabs squad coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Carroll (Corpus Christi, TX). The Sandcrabs record now stands at 1-2.
