Spectators at Saturday's league match between the McQueen Lancers (Reno, NV) and the visiting Douglas Tigers (Minden, NV), witnessed McQueen's softball squad tip Douglas by a count of 6-5.

The Lancers now sport a 2-3 record. They play next when they host Carson for a Northern 4A match on Thursday, March 22. McQueen will meet a Senators squad coming off a 21-5 league win over North Valleys (Reno, NV). The Senators record now stands at 6-2.

With the loss, Douglas moves to 0-4 on the season. The Tigers travel to Spanish Springs (Sparks, NV) to meet the Cougars in a Northern 4A match on Thursday, March 22.
