California High School Basketball - Elizabeth Learning Center crushes Maywood Academy
January 28, 2013: Maywood, CA 90270 Elizabeth Learning Center Bulldogs (Cudahy, CA) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Maywood Academy Nighthawks (Maywood, CA), 65-27 in a league bout.
With the win, Elizabeth Learning Center upgrades its record to 4-5 on the season. The Bulldogs host Bravo (Los Angeles, CA) to play the Knights in a Southern bout on Wednesday, January 30. The Knights go into the bout with a record of 11-10. Bravo lost 55-35 in their recent league bout against Los Angeles (Los Angeles, CA)
Next up, the Nighthawks confront the South Region 9 Tigers (South Gate, CA) in a Southern challenge, on Wednesday, January 30. Maywood Academy will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 1-13 record after their 76-29 league loss to Jefferson (Los Angeles, CA).
