In Friday's league match, the host Tri-Village Patriots basketball team scored a decisive 75-38 triumph over the Ansonia Tigers.

In their next game, the Patriots meet the Belmont Bison (Dayton, OH) in a non-league match, on Saturday, January 6. Tri-Village will attempt to better on its 10-0 season record. The Bison enter the match with a 6-4 record after their 77-58 league win over Meadowdale (Dayton, OH).
