Kentucky High School Volleyball - Paintsville edged by Boyd County
September 11, 2021: Ashland, KY 41102 The Boyd County Lions volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Paintsville Tigers to 1 in the Lions non-league victory on Saturday.
The Lions now have a 4-1 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Russell for a non-league game on Thursday, September 16. Boyd County will confront a Red Devils team coming off a 3-0 league win over Lewis County (Vanceburg, KY). The Red Devils record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (15-3) will now prepare for their game against Floyd Central (Eastern, KY). The Jaguars enter the non-league game with a 5-1 record. In their last game, Floyd Central held off Wolfe County (Campton, KY), 3-0, in a non-league game.
