San Dieguito Academy Mustangs (Encinitas, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Patrick Henry Patriots (San Diego, CA), 53-46 in a non-league bout.

With the win, San Dieguito Academy upgrades its record to 7-9 on the season. The Mustangs host Poway (Poway, CA) to play the Titans in a Avocado bout on Wednesday, January 25. The Titans go into the bout with a record of 14-8. Poway won 57-44 in their recent non-league bout against Temecula Valley (Temecula, CA)

Next up, the Patriots play the Mission Bay Buccaneers (San Diego, CA) in a Western bout, on Friday, January 27. Patrick Henry will attempt to upgrade on its 3-16 season record. The Buccaneers go into the bout with a 16-6 record after their 65-59 league loss to St. Augustine (San Diego, CA).
