October 25, 2021: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 Pequannock Golden Panthers (Pompton Plains, NJ) supporters were pleased Monday as they observed their soccer team hold off the visiting Sparta Spartans (Sparta, NJ), 4-3 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Golden Panthers confront the Hanover Park Hornets (East Hanover, NJ) in a Northwest Jersey - Independence challenge, on Thursday, October 28. Pequannock will attempt to move on its 12-1 season record.
The Spartans now possess a 4-12 record. They take the field next when they travel to West Morris Central for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, October 26. Sparta will confront a Wolfpack team coming off a 1-0 non-league loss to Parsippany Hills (Parsippany, NJ). The Wolfpack record now stands at 2-8.
