Illinois High School Baseball - North Greene defeats Lutheran
April 12, 2023: Springfield, IL 62711 North Greene Spartans (White Hall, IL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Wednesday as they observed their baseball squad overcome the host Lutheran Crusaders (Springfield, IL), 15-8 in a non-league test.
With the win, North Greene upgrades its record to 3-4 on the season. The Spartans travel to Bunker Hill (Bunker Hill, IL) to battle the Minutemen in a non-league test on Friday, April 14. The Minutemen come into the test with a record of 3-5. Bunker Hill lost 14-2 in their recent league test against Father McGivney Catholic (Glen Carbon, IL)
With the defeat, Lutheran falls to 2-7 on the season. The Crusaders host Nokomis (Nokomis, IL) to battle the Redskins in a MSM test on Thursday, April 13. The Redskins come into the test with a record of 5-7. Nokomis lost 11-6 in their recent non-league test against Staunton (Staunton, IL)
