Fans at Tuesday's non-league challenge between the The Colony Cougars (The Colony, TX) and the host Emerson Mavericks (McKinney, TX), saw The Colony's basketball squad hold off Emerson by a tally of 93-89.

With the victory, The Colony improves its record to 2-0 on the campaign. The Cougars travel to Lakeview Centennial (Garland, TX) to confront the Patriots in a non-league challenge on Thursday, November 16. The Patriots come into the challenge with a record of 0-2.
