September 15, 2023: Brookhaven, MS 39601 The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the West Lincoln Bears (Brookhaven, MS) and the visiting Salem Wildcats (Tylertown, MS), observed West Lincoln's football squad defeat Salem by a count of 40-26.
The Bears now own a 1-3 record. They play next when they travel to Enterprise for a non-league contest on Friday, September 22. West Lincoln will encounter a Yellowjackets squad coming off a 40-22 non-league win over Leake County (Walnut Grove, MS). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 2-2.
