Colorado High School Basketball - Aurora Central tops Thornton

Aurora Central Trojans (Aurora, CO) backers were pleased Thursday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Thornton Trojans (Thornton, CO), 66-53 in a league bout.

With the victory, Aurora Central upgrades its record to 9-7 on the campaign. The Trojans travel to Skyview (Thornton, CO) to play the Wolverines in a 4A/3A Colorado bout on Monday, February 7. The Wolverines come into the bout with a record of 12-5. Skyview lost 57-48 in their recent league bout against Fort Lupton (Fort Lupton, CO)

Next up, the Trojans play the Arvada Bulldogs (Arvada, CO) in a 4A/3A Colorado bout, on Tuesday, February 8. Thornton will attempt to upgrade on its 4-14 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 4-10 record after their 52-49 league win over Weld Central (Keenesburg, CO).
