California High School Basketball - St. Genevieve nips Jordan
January 27, 2018: Panorama City, CA 91402 St. Genevieve Valiants (Panorama City, CA) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Jordan Panthers (Long Beach, CA), 2-0 in a non-league bout.
With the win, St. Genevieve upgrades its record to 12-9 on the season. The Valiants host Bishop Amat (La Puente, CA) to play the Lancers in a Camino Real bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Lancers go into the bout with a record of 13-9. Bishop Amat lost 56-51 in their recent league bout against Saint Joseph (Lakewood, CA)
Next up, the Panthers play the Ribet Academy Fighting Frogs (Los Angeles, CA) in a non-league bout, on Monday, February 5. Jordan will attempt to upgrade on its 0-11 season record. The Fighting Frogs go into the bout with a 23-3 record after their 50-41 non-league win over Eagle Rock (Los Angeles, CA).
