Washington High School Baseball - Davis wallops Prosser
April 27, 2021: Yakima, WA 98902 Spectators at Tuesday's non-league battle between the Davis Pirates (Yakima, WA) and the visiting Prosser Mustangs (Prosser, WA), saw Davis's baseball squad knock off Prosser by a count of 17-7.
Coming up next, the Pirates play the Sunnyside Grizzlies (Sunnyside, WA) in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 battle, on Friday, April 30. Davis will attempt to move on its 1-5 season record. The Grizzlies enter the battle with a 0-6 record after their 11-5 league loss to Eisenhower (Yakima, WA).
The Mustangs now possess a 1-11 record. They take the field next when they travel to East Valley for a 2A CWAC battle on Saturday, May 1. Prosser will play a Red Devils squad coming off a 10-2 league loss to Ellensburg (Ellensburg, WA). The Red Devils record now stands at 6-5.
