With the triumph, Volcano Vista improves its record to 1-0 on the campaign. The Hawks host Cibola (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Cougars in a 6A District 1 test on Saturday, March 27. The Cougars come into the test with a record of 0-0.
With the loss, Eldorado drops to 0-1 on the campaign. The Golden eagles host La Cueva (Albuquerque, NM) to confront the Bears in a 6A District 2/5 test on Friday, March 26. The Bears come into the test with a record of 0-1. La Cueva lost 31-20 in their recent league test against Los Lunas (Los Lunas, NM)
