Kentucky High School Basketball - Scott County topped by Cooper
January 12, 2017: Burlington, KY 41091 The Cooper Jaguars basketball team scored 74 points and restricted the visiting Scott County Cardinals to 63 in the Jaguars non-league victory on Thursday.
The Jaguars now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Boone County for a District 33 contest on Saturday, January 14. Cooper will battle a Rebels team coming off a 72-49 league loss to Ryle (Union, KY). The Rebels record now stands at 5-10.
The Cardinals (10-6) will now prepare for their contest against Green County (Greensburg, KY). The Dragons come into the non-league contest with a 12-6 record. In their last contest, Green County prevailed over Caverna (Horse Cave, KY), 94-58, in a league contest.
